The KF Fellowship for Korean Language Training (KLT) provides an opportunity for students, Ph.D. candidates of Korean studies, and Korean studies researchers to learn Korean in an intensive immersion program at a university in Korea.
The KF Scholarship for Graduate Studies (GS) is designed to provide scholarship support to graduate students majoring in a Korea-related field or focusing on a Korea-related research topic at a university located outside Korea.
The KF Fellowship for Postdoctoral Research (PF) is designed to support the full-time research of emerging scholars who have recently obtained a Ph.D. with a Korea-related research topic at a university or research institution located outside Korea.
The KF Fellowship for Field Research offers program support to provide eminent overseas Korean studies scholars and experts in relevant fields with the opportunity to conduct onsite field research in Korea and access relevant resource materials.
The KF invites junior-level diplomats from abroad to Korea for intensive training in Korean language and culture to improve their Korean language proficiency to the level required for Korea-related work and to enhance their understanding of Korea.

Eligibility |
Students and Ph.D. candidates who are majoring in Korean studies (in the humanities, social sciences, or arts & culture) and are currently involved in Korea-related research. All those who apply must be able to understand and speak at least basic Korean. |

Scholars from outside of Korea who are 1) conducting comparative or case studies in the field of Korean studies or in Korea-related areas in the humanities or social sciences, or 2) focusing on research topics that are closely related to Korea and recognized as important new areas of study |
