Phra Aphai Mani is an epic poem by Sunthorn Phu, the Rattanakosin era Thai royal poet honored by UNESCO as a World Poet. The epic follows the adventures of the main character Phra Aphai Mani and offers important stories and lessons on love and life, including the value of learning, life experience gained through adventure, love between family members, and conflicts between parents and children.
