ACH Officially Recognized as a Museum

On March 24, 2021, the ACH was registered as an “ASEAN Culture Museum” (in accordance with Article 16 of the Museum and Art Gallery Support Act and Article 8 of the act’s enforcement decree) in recognition of the expertise furnished and the public role of the space in preserving and managing artworks, hosting exhibitions, and providing educational services. The ACH’s designation as a museum is expected to be a stepping stone for its transformation into a systematic, well-equipped platform for ROK-ASEAN cultural exchange.
